ROGERSVILLE - Mary Lou (Morrisett) McCravey, 68, of Bulls Gap, passed away Tuesday at her home.
Mary, while being able to work, was a CNA and a home health aide.
She not only mothered her children but mothered many children in the Bulls Gap area.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth (Kenny) McCravey; a grandson: Bryan Dotson; her parents: Willard and Grace Morrisett; and brothers: Russell and Danny Morrisett.
She leaves to cherish her memory children: Brenda (Rodney) Jackson of Talbott, Teresa Dotson of Greeneville, Kenneth (Kathy) McCravey of Bulls Gap, and Krystal (Jeremiah) Johnson of Mosheim; sisters: Debbie (Dannie) Waits, and Roxanne (Jackie) Graham; brothers: Charlie (Trish) Morrisett, and Sammy Morrisett; grandchildren: Timothy (Sabrina) McCravey, Matthew McCravey, Pamela (Mike) Rode, Devon McCravey, Dustin (Nancy) McCravey, Christopher (Heather) McCravey, Cory Dean, Hunter McCravey, Malachi and Chasity Dotson, Ashton Hensley, Logan and Dekota Manning, as well as Little Pickle Davis; numerous great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and extended family members.
A formal visitation will not take place but the family will be doing a Celebration of Life for her and Kenny at a later date.
The family would like to give a special thanks to University of Tennessee Hospice nurses for their care of mom.
