Michael Paul Taylor

Born: April 2, 1966 | Died: March 29, 2026

Michael Paul Taylor age 59, passed away Sunday at his home in Greeneville.

Michael, also known as Lurch to his friends, was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. Michael was a carpenter by trade as long as his health permitted. Michael was a kind soul who was always willing to help anyone as much as he could.

He is survived by his sister: Terri Price; a brother: Timothy Harrison, aunt: Elizabeth Carter; special nieces: Summer Inman (Michael), Chrystal Wedding (Thomas), Rachel Harrison, and Ashlynn Harrison; several other nieces, nephews and cousins; special neighbors: Anthony and Tammy Owens.

Michael was proceeded in death by his parents, Birchell "Buck" and Barbara Harrison Jr., sister: Kimberlyn Hankins; grandparents: Earl and Eliza Collins, Birchell and Rose Harrison Sr,, Charles and Irene Taylor; brother in law: Terry Price.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, April 2nd, from 4 - 7 pm at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
