Wayne Roberts Obituary
Wayne "Doc" Roberts age 64 of Afton passed away Sunday July 27, 2025. He can be remembered as a loving son, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his mother Esther Ann Drew, daughter and son-in-law Brandy and Josh Laws, son Brooks Allen Roberts, grandchildren Isaac N. (Chloe) Jaynes, J P Bowens, Kaleb M. Laws, Gabriel W. Roberts, great grandson Lincoln Ray Edwards, sisters Margaret Ann (Cloyd) Gray, Jackie L. Roberts, Mary (JR) Phillips, and several special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Lavie Roberts, stepfather Wesley Drew, and a special friend Haven Kelly Reaves. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm Saturday August 2, 2025 at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will follow at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. He will be cremated following the services. Pallbearers will be Isaac Jaynes, JP Bowens, Robert Waits, Roger Crouch, Stephen Goforth, Kelly Goforth, Josh Laws, Jerry Paul Goforth, and Jerry Austin Goforth. Honorary pallbearers will be all his friends.
