Lorraine Stebnicki Obituary

Lorraine D. "Jeanne" Stebnicki, 92, of McCordsville, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Heritage House in Greensburg, IN. She was born April 13, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to Arthur J. and Virginia (Frye) Schneider.

Lorraine graduated from Arsenal Technical High School and later retired from the former Western-Electric Plant in 1984 after 21 years' service. She was a member of St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church in Indianapolis where she received the St. Ann award for her volunteering with the Catholic Daughters of America. Lorraine enjoyed crafts, gardening and sewing.

Lorraine is survived by children: Irene (Thomas) Holloman of Greensburg; Barbara (Larry) Ratcliff of McCordsville; Allen Stebnicki of McCordsville; Patricia (Marty) Garo of Apache Junction, AZ; Gail (Rick) Wisehart of Shirley; 3 grandchildren: David & Devon Stebnicki and Samantha (Joshua) Ross; numerous step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chester in 2017, son James Stebnicki, parents and siblings: Adele, Arthur, Jr., and Ronald as well as half-sister Virginia

In keeping with Lorraine's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will plan a celebration to celebrate her and her husband Chester at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Lorraine's name to your local public library. Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
