David and I were close friends while at Proximity Junior High. We were both born pranksters and did everything we could to keep classmates in stitches. At one point we "published" ( i.e., made up some jokes and stupid stories, then passed the single sheet around the classroom, under the title of "Enson Productions") He had a cool, funny air about him, and was great to be around, whether wisecracking in class or assembly, or out at recess. I have nothing but the best memories of him, and am so pleased that he went on to be a quality individual and family guy. Sixty years later, I miss you my friend.

I was saddened to learn that David had passed on. We were classmates at Porter Elementary, Proximity Jr, and Page Senior High schools. For about 6-7 years we sat beside each other in class so we could goof off -- while still paying 'some attention' and producing good grades. We even created a single page fun cartoon series to pass around class, under the crazy banner of "Enson Productions". We lived for daily recess and anything having to do with a Ball. Such a good guy, and so many fun memories ... miss you, buddy

I first met David and Audrey when I was their pharmacist about 25 years ago. David was such a kind soul; and I never knew him to have a bad day. He truly lived to assist others, mowing yards and delivering sweets on request or just out of the blue. My family´s favorite was his triple chocolate cake. He gave me a recording of music some years ago when I was working across town. I have missed his friendly face, but am happy to know he has been reunited with Audrey and is enjoying the hereafter.

David truly walked the Christian life of helping others with no exceptions. He had been mowing my friend's (who is unable to walk) yard for the past 5 years and would not take any money. David also always sent my mother-in-law cards for all holidays and wrote a beautiful poem for her celebration of life.
He was a rare jewel.

I graduated high school with David at Page in 1966. He was always upbeat with a great personality. He actually wrote a poem for me. I knew he would be successful in life. His great attitude would never fail him. A wonderful memory of a good man with a big heart. My deepest sympathy to the family. Darlene Shelton Daniel.

I have not seen Dave in a long time.
Reading his obituary I am reminded of what a great guy he was. We used to practice high jumping many years ago.
