Gladys H. Way, 87, passed away in Greensboro on October 21, 2025.
Gladys was a proud graduate of Watts College of Nursing. As an RN, she loved caring for her patients, eventually retiring from Greensboro Cardiology.
She attended South Elm Street Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School.
She enjoyed cross stitching, reading, and watching basketball, especially with her little dog, Lacey.
Gladys was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by two children, Beverly W. Hayse (David), and Mark Way (Maura); grandchildren Harrison Hayse, Sabrina Hayse, Kelly Hayse, and Kimberly Ramsey-Hayse. She will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services of Greensboro, 1900 Vanstory Street, on Tuesday, October 28th, at 12 p.m., with visitation 1 hour prior.
Memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity or the charity of your choice.
