BLACKSTONE, VA Howard Bruce Brandon, Jr. 34, passed away July 27, 2016. He is survived by his father, H. Bruce Brandon Sr. (wife Marilyn) of Washington, DC, and mother, Patricia P. Brandon of Holly Springs, NC. He was raised in Blackstone, VA, attended Virginia Tech University, and graduated from UNC Greensboro. He was known for his optimism and entrepreneurial spirit, and he leaves behind legions of friends who benefitted from his wry sense of humor and limitless kindness. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday July 31, 2016 at the Macedonia United Methodist Church, 683 Macedonia Road, Blackstone VA 23824 Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, Va.
