Kenneth "Ken" Daniel Rhoades, 65, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m. at Pinecroft Baptist Church in Greensboro on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
Born in Madison, Alabama on March 12, 1956 to the late Kenneth Joseph Rhoades and Eva Hazel Troxler Rhoades, Ken was a faithful member of Pinecroft Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and served as a deacon and Sunday School director at his church. Ken was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1976 until 1983. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Cooper Daniel Rhoades.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 16 years, Darlene Rhoades; son, Christopher M. Rhoades and his fiancée Tamica West; daughters, Lisa D. Quazzani and her husband Anwar; sisters, Beverly K. Rhoades and Sandi Hausman and her husband Mike; brother, Paul Rhoades and his wife Joan; grandchildren, Leila, Nayal, and Llyane; and other extended family and friends.
