STONEVILLE Roberta Ann Johnson Torres, 58, passed away June 22, 2018, at Hospice Home of Rockingham. Roberta was born in Rockingham County on August 20, 1959 to Nelda Johnson Smith. She is survived by her mother, Nelda Johnson Smith (Charles E. Smith), two children, Cynthia Marie Hammeke and Kevin Jerrigan; two brothers, Edward J. Smith and Charles E. Smith, Jr.; one grandson, Evan Hammeke. It was Roberta's request to be cremated with no formal service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home and other times at the home of her mother. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O. Box 281 , Wentworth, NC 27375.
