Abbie Everett Obituary

Abbie Everett, a native of Simpsonville, who worked for the U.S. Senate on Capitol Hill for 22 years, died in Mauldin on April 22, 2006.

She was the daughter of the late Jerry Robinson and Lillian Puttman Robinson, and loving mother of Bobby A. Everett of Silver Springs, Md.

Other survivors include her son's wife, Dorothy Everett; a brother, June Robinson, of Greer; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Robinson; and four sisters, Daisy Hill, Lois Robinson, Kate Johnson, and Corrine Dennis.

Final Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2006, at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 413 East Poinsett St., Greer, where she was a devoted member. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Visitation today from 1 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 502 Hampton Road, Greer. Burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer.

The Brown Funeral Home is assisting the family.
