Bobby LeCroy Obituary

Bobby Dean LeCroy, 59, of 221 Elaine Ave., Taylors, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of Hazel Jane Whiten of Belton and the late Samuel Jackson LeCroy Jr.

Prior to his retirement, he was a process chemist. Mr. LeCroy was also a member of Taylors First Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother are three daughters, Kristian Stauffer and husband, Thad, of Raleigh, N.C., Allison Marano and husband, Salvatore "Sam", of Mount Pleasant, and Ragan LeCroy of Taylors; five grandchildren; one brother, Ted LeCroy of Greenville; stepfather, Albert J. Lollis; stepbrother, Jimmy Lollis; and stepsister, Cathy Frosh.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, with a gathering of friends prior from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. Interment to follow the service in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Cancer Centers of the Carolinas Research Fund, 65 International Drive, Greenville, SC 29615 or The American Lung Association of S.C., 11 Brendan Way, Suite B-2, Greenville, SC 29615.
