David Rife Obituary

David Joseph Rife, 43, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at his home after suffering an illness.

Born in Savannah, Ga., February 26, 1965, he moved
to Greenville with his parents when he was a year old.
David graduated from Travelers Rest High School in 1983 and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He was employed at Precision Valve for 9 years. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was loved by all and will be missed. David is now with his Heavenly Father, where we will be together again some day.

David is survived by his mother, Beulah Rife; his father, David G. Rife; stepmother, Rita Rife; two children, Michael Rife and Dana Rife; three sisters, Vickey Pritchett, Karen Rife, and Janet Rife; brother-in-law, Tony Pritchett; brothers, Shannon McGill and Thomas Springs; three nephews; two nieces; and one great-niece.

Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2009, in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the residence in Marietta.
