Homer Craig Obituary

Homer William Craig, known to all as "Bill", went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 18, 2002, after a brief illness.

Born Sept. 1, 1918, in Hawkville, Pa., he was the 9th son of 10 children born to Mary Olive Hawk and Charles Curtis Craig. Homer was a retired soils engineer for the State of Pennsylvania. He was a member of Petrolia Presbyterian Church and the International Order of Odd Fellows.

Homer is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret Schreckengost Craig; and four children, Arvilla Craig Turner of Auburn, N.Y., Marjorie Craig Sychak of East Berlin, Pa., Brenda Craig Jackson of Greenville; and a son, H. Curtis Craig, of Butler, Pa. His granddaughters include Kelly Grazier of Bloomfield, N.Y., Michele Sychak of Omaha, Neb., Lisa Thomas of Greenville, Stefanie Moseley of Greenville and Nicole Sychak of Omaha, Neb. His grandsons include Todd Grazier of Laural, Md., Bret Michaels of White Rock, British Columbia, Canada, and Travis Craig of Butler, Pa. His great-grandchildren are Ryan Moseley of Greenville, Abigail Thomas of Greenville, Raine Michaels of White Rock British Columbia, Canada, and Tavi Grazier-Miller of Bloomfield, N.Y.

The family will honor their memory of Homer at a private memorial service in the near future. - Cremation Society of South Carolina, Greenville.
