Lea Menegon Obituary
Born in Tramonti di Sopra, Italy, Lea met Benito Menegon, her life's love, and they would become childhood sweethearts. She relocated to Paris, where she studied French at the Sorbonne, and worked at a boutique dress shop.
Years later, Ben and Lea reunited, married at the American Church in Paris in 1962 and traveled back to Greenwich, CT. Her greatest pride and joy were her three children � Lucio, Lynn, and Lisa. A loving mother and wife, she held her household together with incredible cooking and much happiness. Lea volunteered at school events, Greenwich Hospital, and for an astounding 37 years at The Rummage Room in Old Greenwich.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Benito Menegon; her son Lucio Menegon; her daughters Lynn Menegon and Lisa Menegon Lovejoy (Ted); and her two grandsons Spencer and Sam Lovejoy. Everyone who came in contact with Lea adored her. She was the light of Ben's life, and a kind, gentle soul who will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church in Old Greenwich on Saturday, September 30th at 10 a.m.

I have many great memories of Lea, and her family: On Saturday´s we were always invited to spend the day at their house, so the kids could play in their pool, of course, we stayed for dinner, Lea and I sharing each other´s recipes cooked some fantastic meals. "Happy times""

My dear cousin, Lea, is the loveliest person I have ever known. Her soft-spoken way and wonderful disposition drew you to her. Her love and kindness to my mother will always be remembered. I know Ben and her family will miss her very much. Please know she will always be in my heart.

Lea and Ben came several times to see Lynn dance with our CreationDance group, they were so supportive and proud of Lynn, they truly appreciate our dance and you could see the light in their eyes, it was so touching! Love and energy to Ben, Lynn, Lucio, Lisa and her family
