Barry James McConnell passed away peacefully in Bullhead City, Arizona on November 6, 2024 at the age of 73.
Barry was born in Greenwich, Connecticut on November 4, 1951. Barry was preceded by his parents James (Bud) and Helen McConnell and brother Ryan.
Barry attended St. Mary's High School. After high school Barry attended Wheeling College in West Virginia and eventually moved back to Greenwich and joined the Greenwich Police Department where he served from 1973 -1978. After leaving the Police Department, Barry moved to Long Beach, California and started a career with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Aircraft Company in the Security Division. Barry eventually moved up the ranks to become Chief of Security. He worked for Boeing for 28 years and retired in 2007. After retirement, Barry relocated to Bullhead City, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Linda, daughter Dina, son David and brother Scott. Barry was a grandfather and great-grandfather.

Linda and family, we were so shocked to recently learn of Barry’s passing. He was our dear, dear friend for so many years and Bestman at our wedding. Chris and Barry had a heartfelt friendship and shared an apartment for a few years. Every memory I have of Barry is a great one. So sorry for your terrible loss.
