First time i meet her was in 1971 at cos cob school library. I had moved to Riverside from Italy a year earlier and we had just moved in October 71 to cos cob. I always remember her for her kindness and smile and trying to help me out. at that time i did not realize we would be neighbors for 50 years she lived next door to me. She was always pleasant and kind always said hello to me and my family.
to me she will always be Mrs. C.

everything said in this Guest Book is as I remember her when she was working at the Cos Cob School Library back in the mid 1960s. Always pleasant. Always helpful. Always expressed empathy for people in the Cos Cob community who were going through some bad times. She was special.

Sally, Freddy -- Your mom was The. Best. Kind, loving and always smiling. Over 55 years ago, we were on the front page together of a Greenwich Time story when I was the first to receive a vaccine in a Cos Cob School kindergarten class. (She provided great strength to me as I was about to cry my eyes out!)
She'll always be in my memory.

Oh I am so sorry! Mrs. Capparelle was a legend in the library world! She was the friendly face in the Cos Cob School Library. I spent numerous hours there after-school. It was my favorite place. Mrs. C did the best Read Alouds ever, she instilled in me the love of reading. I could only aspire to be like her. As a library professional she was the perfect example to me on how a librarian should be. Always gracious, kind, and boy could she tell a good story! She was my role model and the reason I love what I do. I will think of her every-time I read a story to my students. I know she will be in spirit watching.
Sally I am so so sorry! My condolences to the Capparelle and Capalbo family.
Grace and Peace Alway
