Charles Jon you remain in our memories and hearts as a true kid/man of the mountains... our beloved Siskiyou's will always remain your grand backyard paradise. A lot of joy came from three generations of our family exploring the creeks, rivers, and mountain lakes with you and your family. Many nights sitting around the campfire together and planning the next day's adventure will remain with us forever as cherished memories of simpler times. Thank you for being our friend and rest well in "another" paradise with your Mom and Dad!

I first met Chuck many years ago in Woodland, Ca. Joined his gym and found myself quickly becoming his friend. We had the love of the mountains and hunting in common. When he moved his gym to a new location on main street, I was there helping carry all those weights (all were in the basement of the old original gym) up those stairs and out to our trailer. Years later we would take an Idaho hunting trip together along with Dave and a few other friends. I remember the birth of both his children. I'm sad we drifted apart in more recent times due to life circumstances, but I always considered him a very close friend. We had a bond that didn't need routine exposure. What a great guy he was! Our families shared many a summer in Carter Meadows. Those summers turned into pen pals and life. Long friends. We named a hike to Big Blue, Charlie´s Rock pile. He loved to takes the flat landers up the steepest hills. I cherish the memories our our youth. You are deeply missed my friend!
