James Underwood Obituary
Honoring and celebrating the life of James Victor Underwood lovingly known as Jim, Jimmy and Uncle Jim.
Jim passed away on February 16, 2025 at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 87 years old. Jim is originally from Sinajana, Guam and retired in San Diego, CA, after a combined service in the United States Navy and the Civil Service for a total of 42 years. He later moved to Las Vegas in 2005 where he lived for 20 years.
Last respects for Jim/Uncle Jim will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Chapel and Cemetery at 8:40 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025. Jim will be laid to rest with full military honors at 9:10 a.m. at 1900 Veterans Memorial, Boulder City, Nevada 89005. Reception lunch to follow later at 12 noon at the new Silverado Ranch Community Center, rooms B & C, located at 9855 Gillespie St., Las Vegas, NV 89183. Please join Jim's family and his friends. Thank you.
