Etha Wiley Obituary

Mrs. Etha Sims Wiley, age 88, of Buford, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2008. Mrs. Wiley was preceded in death by her Husband, Jay Wiley, son, Jerry S. Wiley and her Parents, Zed & Ruby Franklin Sims. She is survived by her: Daughter: Sandra Wiley Quesenberry, Decatur, GA; Grandchildren: Wes Quesenberry, Norcross, GA, Elizabeth Brown, Buford, GA; Great Grandchildren: Clayton Dowdy, Claire Dowdy; Brothers & Sister-In-Law: Otto & Kathryn Sims, Dacula, GA, Cratie Sims, Auburn, GA; Sisters & Brother-In-Law: Shirley & Larry Reese, Winder, GA, Willa Jean Stewart, Fallon, NV; Brother-In-Law: Otis Morris, Mayesville, GA; Sisters-In-Law: Betty Wiley, Sugar Hill, GA, Ruby Wiley, Chamblee, GA; Several Nieces and Nephews. Mrs. Wiley was born on October 13, 1919 in Barrow County, GA. She retired from Buford City School System with 10 years of service in the Cafeteria. Mrs. Wiley was a member of the First Baptist Church of Buford and was an active member of the Daisy Shadburn - Bykota Sunday School class, and the Abundant Life Fellowship. She enjoyed music at the Everett's Music Barn in Suwanee on Saturday nights. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Buford Building Fund in memory of Mrs. Etha Wiley. Arrangements by Junior E.
