Robert Boggs Obituary

Robert J. Boggs, age 71, of Buford, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 following an extended illness. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, February 17, 2006 in the Chapel of Tapp/Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. R. Edward Davenport officiating. Burial will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Boggs is survived by his wife of 46 years, Martha Boggs; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Lance and Angelina Boggs, Buford; Granddaughter, Persefone Boggs, Buford; Aunt, Ewell Lancaster, Buford; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Boggs honorably served in the Army during the Korean War, retired from the United States Post Office, was a member of the American Legion Post #127 of Buford, and a member of Buford Church of God. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 P.M. til 9 P.M. at Tapp/Tim Stewart Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 Morningside Drive, Buford, Georgia 30518, 770-945-9345.

Martha, I love you sooo much you have been through alot trying to take care of Robert. You are in my heart and prayers, Uncle Robert has went home to be with old mama & papa- Granny Janice and Uncle Aurther may they all rest in peace and just remember it's not good-bye it's so long until we see you again!
