News Death Notice

FREY, Alma E. (Yauch) 95, of Annapolis, Maryland, formerly of Middletown, Ohio died Friday, May 30, 2008, at Sunrise Assisted Living. She was born in Middletown, on March 11, 1913 to parents John and Josephine (Doepker) Yauch. Alma was a member of Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church and a member of the Alter Rosary Society. Mrs. Frey is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Gruendl; son, James (Marjorie) Frey; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Celestine A. Frey; her parents; and brothers, Richard Yauch, Henry Yauch, and William Yauch. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church with Father David Fay as celebrant. Visitation will be Saturday, prior to Mass from 8:30 - 10:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401. Condolences may be sent to the family via our web page at WilsonSchrammSpaulding.com

I am deeply sorry to hear about the loss of Alma. She gave me my first job cleaning for her and Celeste when I first moved to Middletown and always treated my family and I as part of her family.
