I met Chuck through my husband, Ronnie. Back in the late sixties, he bowled with me, Jack and Mary Lou in a bowling league. He and Ronnie were great friends and was Ronnie's best man at our wedding. He visited Ronnie at our home for a couple hours in January of this year after Ronnie had heart surgery. When Ronnie was in Hospice of Dayton starting April 3rd, Chuck visited twice, the last time being April 8, right before Ronnie passed away that afternoon. He texted me on Thursday letting me know that he would be unable to come to Ronnie's funeral because he had been in the hospital since the day Ronnie passed. Like Ronnie, Chuck was a true gentleman. He loved Susan very much and took great care of her. Now I know he and Ronnie are together in Heaven and laughing together about all their experiences. Susan, may God give you peace and comfort like He has to me.

I remember Chuck as the kindest and sincerest person I had the pleasure of knowing during my high school days. He will always carry a spot in my heart.
