So sorry to hear of this. I had the opportunity to get to know Erik through nursing school all the way to graduation. He had a very wonderful unique charm about him that will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers to the Caldwell family.

Erik was a fine young man,it was a pleaurse to have him in my life . His life was finally coming about and is quite a shock not to see him totally blooming because he was making the turn.

I am in shock as I read about this. My son is Eric J Spencer. He was a year older than Erik, but was held back one year & therefore they were in the same grades. But erik & I became friends at Cassano's, I was the 2nd shift crew leader & he worked with me. I have not saw him since he graduated, but I always will remember that re haired kid! I'm at a total loss for words my friend. I can't believe your not here, i just talked to you last week and was looking forward to spending time together catching up with one another.

Your heart was about helping others and i got to witness alot of that, that's why you called me last week {wanting to get help for another}.

I'm proud to be your friend and am saddened you are no longer here for others to hear your hillarious jokes, your witty personality, and to witness what i have over the years.

I'll miss you my friend, however i know i will see you again someday.
