Faithe Barrett

1973 - 2017

BARRETT (Proulx), Faithe Deanna Age 43 of Vandalia, OH passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, TN., where she received her Bachelors of Arts Degree and was a member of the Kappa Omicron chapter of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. Faithe began her teaching career in 1996 with the Memphis City Schools and later the Lexington, KY School systems. After moving to Dayton, OH, she taught most of her years for the Northmont City Schools. She loved teaching and being with her family and friends. Faithe especially loved watching her girls dance and her son play soccer. She is survived by her husband of 20 years: Don Barrett, 3 children: Lexi, Connor and Sophia Barrett, her mother: Nancy (Ledwell) Proulx of Clayton, OH, maternal grandmother: Peggy Tripp of RI, father-in-law and mother-in-law: John and Mary Cunningham of Dayton, OH, Faithe had numerous special friends who supported her in her battle: Dani, Ashley, and Kyra and their families, her Northmont Family, Dance Family and so many other family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Aullwood Audubon Center (1000 Aullwood Rd. Dayton, OH). The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, from 3:00 p.m. and will be followed by a service beginning at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northmont Education Foundation.
