No matter how many sister fights we had, we always ended up laughing about it later. I'm glad we got to joke around about our last fight before you passed. I saw the hesitation before you got out of my truck the last time I saw you. If I could go back to that moment, I would have just kept you with me. I love you so much, Bug. I really hope that you are at peace. No haunting me, you little turd! ??

I remember when Jenessa was born. Always a pretty girl inside and out. Quite a few years after being out of touch with her, Jenica and her mom Shirley, I ran across Jenessa working at a restaurant in Tacoma, WA. called Chevy' s. It was wonderful to see her. Jenessa and Jenica both babysat my daughter a couple of times. I went to high school with Shirley. My heart is saddened because she is no longer with us. My daughter, Sarah is also saddened. Much love to Shirley and Jenica for their loss and to Jenessa's children. My heart is with you all. Love, Kelly Rowan

Do you remember, Nessa, up there in Heaven?
How we used to roam all over Tall Tree Manor Apartments in the summers as kids, how you used to beg me to walk you that mile to Zak's Corner Store in Graham? How I showed you the finer points of basketball, how to shoot? How you used to show me all your drawings, and how I used to scream in mock horror at the idea of you driving?
How you used to spider-dance and command your "subjects" with your 'British regal lady' routine? "COME to me, darlings..." and "Get OUT of here!" You were always not too far away from the next thing that made you laugh- you always laughed just like Aunt Margie, and I never got over how similar it was.
Do you remember how when we became young adults and at my apartment you, me and Jordan all debated for hours about men and women and life and religion and everything else in-between...you always had so much, so fast going on in that brain of yours.
Do you remember how you came to my band's show, that one time...how we got you in there (QUITE against the rules!) and I danced on stage and so did you and it was such a fun show, even if hardly anyone was there...and then we both had to go somewhere else that night? I always, always wished we'd been able to hang out more that night, it felt like a party that we both had to leave too soon.
Now you're with my Dad and your Dad, and Grandpa French (I'm sure of this)... And part of me can't help but think that just like here on Earth, your spirit- your relentlessly loving and indomitably dynamic spirit- is going to be such a welcome addition to whatever it is they were talking about.
I know that the rest of my life here on Earth will be wishing you were still here with us, I ache as I'm typing this and you not being here is always going to be a hole in me that I have to live with.
I love you so much, Nessa Bug. Always did, always will. I wish my last words to you had BEEN "I love you". My heart's broken a few pieces more that they weren't and now you're gone.
You've left our party too soon again, pretty cousin. I miss you so much already. I love you.
