Family-Placed Obituary


RENFROW, Joe W. Age 78, of Ross Township, Ohio passed away Friday morning, March 18, 2005 at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio. He was born on September 15, 1926 in Love, Kentucky the son of Leborn and Ella (Douglas) Renfrow. He was a veteran of the United States Army. On December 24, 1952 he married Anna Lee Loos in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and they just celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. Joe was employed as a welder with Mosler Safe Company for 27 years, retiring in 1988. He is survived by his wife Anna Lee Renfrow of Ross Township; two children, Brenda Carris of Crosby Township and Gary Renfrow of Dayton, Ohio; six grandchildren, Alicia and Tony Cipriani, Josey and Lacey Carris, and Amber and Erin Renfrow; five great grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Alyssa, Kyla, and Ethan; one brother, Roland Renfrow of Atherton, Illinois; one sister, Patty Jean DeWeese of Round Hill, Kentucky; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, Ohio on Monday at 12:00 noon with burial following in the Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. If desired, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
