PARSONS, Joel ''Kent'' Age 68, of Punta Gorda, FL died September 11, 2006. He was born June 13, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to this area 20 years ago from Mason, Ohio. Before retiring, he was the owner of Parson's Insurance Agency. Mr. Parson's was an active volunteer with the Athletic Dept. of Charlotte High School since 1992. He is survived by his wife Judith Parsons of Punta Gorda, FL and daughter, Tiffany Parsons of Pasadena, CA; niece, Shawnee and nephew, Joel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Saturday, September 16, 2006 at the Kays-Ponger Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. Kays-Ponger Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Punta Gorda Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.

I remember Kent Parsons from years ago in Hamilton. He was funny and drove a cool 1955 T-Bird. We hung out for several years. My sympathies to the family.

Fond Memories of growing up as classmates at Buchannan, Roosevelt and Hamilton High Schools. My sympathy and prayers to those Kent leaves behind.
