Family-Placed Obituary

VANDEBERG, John H. Age 86, formerly of Mason passed peacefully Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at his daughter's home in Morrow. Born November 2, 1917 in Scobey, Montana, the son of Peter and Augusta (Glunz) Vandeberg, he was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and husband. Preceded in death by his wife of over sixty years Hester Vandeberg in Jan "04, son John Vandeberg in April 2001 and parents, he is survived by children Jackie (Aaron) Wright of Oregonia, Frank (Jeanne) Vandeberg of Mason and Libby (David) Smith of Morrow, daughter-in-law Sandy Vandeberg of Batavia, sister Teresa B. of Scobey Montana, nine grandchildren Jason and Aaron Wright, Frank and Mandy Vandeberg, Jamie, Craig and Nikki Vandeberg, Heather and Brandon Smith, their spouses and thirteen great-grandchildren. Mr. Vandeberg was a proud and highly decorated Army Veteran of WWII. Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 19, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church, Morrow, Oh. The family requests memorial contributions to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4310 Cooper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242. Arrangements handled by Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home, Lebanon.
