Family-Placed Obituary
GILBERT, Johnathan Age 18 of Lebanon passed away in Columbus, Ohio Sunday September 16, 2007. Born July 19, 1989 in Dayton, the son of Michael and Melissa (Robinson) Gilbert, he was a life-long Lebanon resident and attended Lebanon High School. He is survived by his parents Michael Gilbert and Melissa Robinson-Gilbert, grandparents Dennis and Linda Mitchell, brothers Michael and Matthew Gilbert and Justin Robinson, sister Amanda Gilbert, all of Lebanon and a host of other family members and dear friends. Visitation was Wednesday evening at Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home, Lebanon with funeral service Thursday September 20, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial was in the Lebanon Cemetery.

I want to let you know first and foremost that I am very sorry about the loss of Johnny. Ah, boy, I still remember the day of my baby shower...that was the last time anyone! I just can't believe how grown up he looks in his picture here. Just be proud, you are a wonderful mother, and keep your head up! If you ever need anything...Call me! Call Dad, Aunt Lynn, Grandpa or whoever to get my number. I will be glad to help you with anything or if you just need someone to talk to...I would enjoy hearing from you! We love you MISSY-

I didn't know your son personally, but my son Bob and my grandaughter Jessica did. I am so sorry that you are going through this terrible time of sadness and loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. In the midst of this terrible time I hope that you are able to draw comfort from the memories, and love and encouragement of those around you for the strength to embrace the days ahead.
