Lillian O'Hara Obituary
News Death Notice
OHARA, Lillian age 87, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at Hillspring of Springboro. She was born February 17, 1923 in Estel County, KY to John C. and Mary Lou (Jenia) Prater, Sr. Lillian was a homemaker and former owner/operator of Triangle Fishing Lake and Archery Shop. She was also a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Russell O'Hara in 2001; sisters Wilma Castle, Peggy Maxwell, Nancy McClain and Pauline Puckett. Lillian is survived by her daughter Marilyn (Ted) Groth; son Kenneth R. (Barbara C.) O'Hara; grandchildren John (Leslie) O'Hara, Jeff (Angie) Groth, Mike O'Hara and Debra (Brian) Millard; great-grandchildren Lyndsay (Cody) Fugate, Kyle Groth, Brittany Millard, Elizabeth O'Hara, Kolby Millard and Caty O'Hara; great-great-grandchildren Kaylee and Landon Fugate; sisters Irma Burgess and Mary (Bill) Chasteen; brothers Charles (Arlene) Prater and John C. (Sandy) Prater, Jr.; and many loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 17, 2010 from 11:00 am until the Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm with Rev. Maurice Dunn officiating at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park. Memorials may be sent to Union Chapel United Methodist Church, 8284 Keister Rd., Middletown, OH 45042. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevensparramore.com.
