CASSIDY, Robert "Bob" Age 61, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005 at 4:40 p.m. at Middletown Regional Hospital where he had been a patient for 5 days. He was born April 10, 1943 in Middletown, Ohio and lived here all his life. He was employed as a Roll Finisher at Sorg and Bay West Paper Company for 40 years. He was a member of the N.R.A. and enjoyed hunting, fishing and jig saw puzzles. He is survived by his wife of 23 ½ years Eugenia "Gina" Cassidy; daughter, Darlla Bowsher of Florida; son Timothy Wayne Cassidy of Florida; stepdaughter Jamie Lawhorn and husband T.J. of Springboro, Ohio; stepson Eric Earach of Middletown, Ohio; five grandchildren, Mike, Christina, Trevor, Hannah and Alexa; brother Stanley Cassidy and wife Lorraine of Middletown, Ohio; sister Mildred Allen of Trenton, Ohio and half-sister Norma of Connecticut; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dogs, Ricco and Cocoa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Eva (Ingram) Cassidy; a brother and sister Billy Cassidy and Dorothy Combs; two half-Brothers, Cecil Cassidy and Herbert Cassidy. Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2005 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be Monday, March 7, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend David Zornes officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 3243 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown

Bob was married to my mothers sister while I was growing up. He will always be considered my uncle. There are many memories of him when I was young. As an adult, I had the opportunity to go deer hunting with him. He will be missed.
