Sandra Bishop Obituary
News Death Notice
BISHOP, Sandra Lynn (nee: Armstrong) 68, of Morrow, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at her home in "Blue shin" with her loving family by her side. Born March 16, 1942 in Morrow, OH, to Ralph Lloyd Armstrong and Virginia Lavonne Armstrong (nee: Denlinger). Sandra retired from Little Miami school district after 21 years as a cook, where she loved being surrounded by all the children. Sandra was an avid gardener, she loved the outdoors and animals. Sandra was a member of the O.E.S Cary Chapter #221 in Blanchester. Preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Larry Dale Armstrong. Survivors include loving husband of 50 years, Carl Bishop of Morrow, two sons; Tim Bishop of Kokomo, IN and Jerry Bishop of Morrow, daughter; Karla Adams (Bob) of Hillsboro, and two grandchildren; Brandon Bishop (Niesje) and Kyle Adams. Growing up my Dad and I would visit Sandy and Carl; Carl being my uncle. It was almost like being my second home. Sandy, at an early age, inspired my interest in animals, plants and trees, etc. She was very knowledgeable about many things. She was a wonderful person. I know she will be greatly missed. I haven't seen her in several years, but I can still hear her special laugh. I would like to send my thoughts and prayers out to the family. God Bless you in your time of grieving.

I worked with Mrs. Bishop many years ago at Sugar Run Nursery for a couple couple of seasons. She was always a ray of sunshine with her smiles and jokes as we planted flowers in the freezing weather! Thoughts & prayers to the family. God Bless.

My tie with Mrs. Bishop occurred many years ago while riding horses in 4-H. I can still see a smile on her face while watching Karla show her horse. She was always there with a positive comment and a warm smile. I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with her and am a better person because of it.
