Lucille Bishop

Lucille Bishop, a beloved mother, grandmother, niece and cousin, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on October 11, 1936, in Onslow County, North Carolina to Lucine Bishop and Eliose Parker. Lucille is survived by her daughter Renee Martin Slater and grandson, Tyler William Klee, both of Wilmington, NC.

Lucille spent her professional career mostly in Accounting with Block Industries in Wilmington, NC. Lucille's contributions were valued and she will be remembered for unwavering commitment.

Lucille grew up in Wilmington, NC in the downtown area and graduated from high school in Jacksonville, FL. Once she graduated from high school she moved back to Wilmington, NC and resided in the Lake Forest community for most of her adult life.

A time of honor and celebration for Lucille will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the home of Lynn Wommack Rooks, at 6938 Campbells Ridge Drive SE, Leland, NC 28451 from the hours of 2pm to 4pm.

Lucille Bishop will be forever remembered for her kind heart, dedication to her loved ones, and her commitment to her work. She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
