My heartfelt sympathies and prayers to Sara's family. I met Sara in the fifth grade when we moved to the area, and will always remember her kindness in welcoming and befriending me as a new student. We had some good times (even at school!) and I enjoyed time with the Southard kids, and remember vividly Sara getting the biggest kick when my dad backed over the family's mailbox! When we moved away, I visited Sara during high school (and always Alter football games) - she was such a neat person, and had a sweetness not always seen in teenagers. I regret that we lost touch with each other. Please know that the Fenwick community is keeping Sara and the entire family in their prayers.

Dear Family,
I worked with Sara over 20 years ago at TV Travel. She was a wonderful person; one of those rare individuals who you never forget because they are so genuine and caring. I lost contact with Sara years ago when I moved to California, but I wanted you to know how highly I respected her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with Sara at Senco. She could always brighten your day with her great attitude. You could hear her smile through the phone. Words are little comfort but you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Greta, Jenny, Mark and Jeff - My brother Bob called me and told me about Sara. We had lost touch -but there are so many great memories... high school and college. Sara was my maid of honor!!! I could write books about our camping trips, our crazy sleepovers, our Tahoe ski trip, our endless art projects, the time we "T-P"d Teresa's yellow vega!, the many double cheeseburgers at McDonald's, her sweatpants and hiking boots!

Scott, Emily & Mason - I do a very poor job of staying in contact with those people that were a part of my growing up. Sara, Teresa Knickle and I were inseparable in high school. Teresa went to a different high school, and we would skip school to go to school with each other - Sara and I to Centerville or Teresa would come to Alter. Sara was my maid of honor - she met my husband before anyone else in my family - or Teresa.

I am very sorry that Sara and I have lost touch. She is very close to my heart. She was one of my best friends, and always will be.

Bless you all, and please know that you are in my thoughts, prayers and my heart.
Sandy

I worked with Sara at Carlson Wagonlits and World Travel Partners. She was one of the most genuine happy and friendly ladies I have ever known. She spoke often of both Emily and Mason. She really loved you both very much as I am sure you know. I smile thinking of her but my heart hurts for you both. My prayers are with you in the tough journey you have ahead. You are in my prayers.

Emily, Mason and Scott - I truly feel that God has given me greatest gift. He blessed me and my family with the opportunity to meet Sara and to have had her in our lives. Sara was the first person I met when we came to John 23rd and she truly made us feel so welcome at the school. Emily and Mason, you two were everything to Sara. She loved you kids so much and I always enjoyed seeing the closeness you shared. Sara was my football buddy, and no game will ever be the same without her. I will miss everything about her... her smile, her laugh, her kindness, her loving voice and most of all her friendship.

Love Always,
Dawn, Greg, Jake and Josh Rush

My sincere sympathy to the entire family especially Mason and Emily. Sara loved you all so much. I worked at Senco in Travel with Sara and she actually took my job when I retired. She was a wonderful person and I have such fond memories. Her fondest memories were of the vacations she took with her two precious children. She will always be in our hearts.

Dear Emily & Mason,

I am Kim, 25 years old and I work for Senco in the netherlands, Europe. Your mum and I were in contact last week to arrange some things. I want to let you know that I think of you two, not just because I think your mum was a great person but because I lost my mum last thursday too very unexpected. I know that nobody can take away the terrible pain and sadness you are feeling now but I hope it helps a bit to know that there are more people (even at the other side of the world) that are experiencing the same pain at the moment and understand what you are going through.
You are in my prayers

warm regards,
Kim

It was my pleasure to know and work with Sara at Senco. I am a field sales representative in Utah that often called her to plan travel arrangements.
I also recently got to visit with Sara in Nashville, and she was just as happy in person as she has always been on the phone.
Sara always had laughter and a smile to share with everyone. Her voice always reflected cheerfulness. She would brighten my day each time I spoke to her.
God bless you and your family at this time of loss and sorrow.
