News Death Notice

KRAUSE, Thelma A. (devoted and loving mother and grandmother) age 89 of Hamilton died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at her residence. She was born on April 12, 1922 in Hamilton, OH, the daughter of Dillard and Bessie (Robinson) Burns. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School and married Howard Russell Krause on September 12, 1946 in Covington, KY. She was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother. She was an active member of the Bethel Community Church. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Bolser and husband Adrian, Pamela Krause Brosey and husband Daniel, and son Robert L. Krause and wife Linda, all of Hamilton; two brothers, Randy Burns and wife Gerry of Manchester, N.H., and Chief Master Sergeant Dillard Burns Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO., nine grandchildren, Dr. Ben Bolser (Becky), Joel Bolser (Danielle), Anna Kaufman (Shawn), Heather Renee Brosey (Tony), Christina Marie Krause (fiancé Andy Rolfes), Lindsey Krause, Danielle Smith (Wes), Justin Howard Brosey (fiancée Megan Weisel), Jared Daniel Brosey, and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Virgil Burns, sister Opal Helton, and a great grandson, Michael Benjamin Bolser. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 10 am, at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N.W. Washington Blvd., Hamilton, OH, with Reverend Charles Staudenmaier officiating. Interment will be in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, April 15, 2011 from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank Dr. William Krall for his kind and compassionate care. Memorials may be made to the Bethel Community Church, 2015 N.W. Washington Blvd, Hamilton, OH, 45013.
