Jenny,Jessica and Chad, Katie and Tom, Eileen, David-
Well, I wanted you all to know that I wanted to tell everyone sitting in the church at Tom's Funeral what a great, loving, wonderful, crazy, fun filled man he is and was, but I don't think I could have gotten all the kind words out, without it sounding like a mouth full of babbles and tears. I am so thankful that each of you shared him with me and my family. He touched so many lives !! He was a fiesty lion on the outside, but such a warm fuzzy little cub in the inside. We can all be happy that He got his way again- yea! I know that you are all are emotionally strong- God is Good. Your pain and aches are felt and shared by all those that knew or heard of Tom McDougall. Let Tommy's love nuture us and continue to give us strength.
Love you all- Lisa, John, Adam and Justin

Katie and Family,
My heart and prayers go out to you. I heard the news today, and am so sorry for your loss. Tom was a very fun guy, and very tolerant of teenage boys raiding the fridge at your house. I will always have very fond memories of him.
Please take care.

Brian and I will always remember that Tom and Jenny were the first neighbors to introduce themselves and welcome us to the Pipestone neighborhood. Tom would drop by frequently to just say hello, chat about his children (Jessica and Katie), the grandchildren, his time with Jenny (who he loved with a passion) or his motorcycle endeavors. We will miss him more than I ever thought imaginable - he truly was an incredible friend. Tom touched our lives, making a difference that will last a lifetime and for that we will be forever grateful.

My husband and I knew Tom through his involvment with the Home Builders Association and through our shared passion for motorcycles (the Hillclimbs). We did not personally know his family, but over the course of the last decade, we certainly knew of his love for them as his anecdotes and stories can attest. He teased me when I received my motorcycle endorsement about riding a Harley and how riding a Triumph was the only way too go.... and in retrospect, he did you know... Triumph. As a human being, he was a loving, gregarious, warm-spirited, person and I for one, will strive to be as triumphant as he was, as a person. We will miss him greatly and send our prayers that his family will find their way as they navigate through the pain of their loss.

I'll never forget the first few times I met Tom...I was helping my dad build an addition to his garage on Skyview for, what else, his motorcycles... Every day at lunch he came home and had a new joke or story that would have us in stitches. He had the nak to make people around him laugh. As I grew up with Jessica and Chad, it was a real pleasure and honor to know Tom. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

It's just to hard to believe... life without Tom. The void is unimaginable, to not see him ride his motorcycle down the street or sit on his porch with Jenny in the summer is too hard to think about. We admired Tom's love and devotion to Jenny, Jessie, Katie and their families. If you wanted to see him smile, just ask him about his "girls" and his grandsons (and of course his motorcycles!) Tom will truly be missed in our neighborhood, he was a great friend and neighbor.
We're so sorry for your loss.

It was with great sadness to learn of Tom's passing. As a professional, as a fellow Rotarian, as a friend, I will always remember Tom's humor and joy for life. Tom touched us all. He will be missed.

We are so shocked by Tom's sudden death. I was looking forward to this summer, when he was going to show me how to ride one of his old motorcycles. He was a wonderful neighbor, a good friend, and a very nice, fun loving man. We are glad we got to know him, and we will really miss him, especially riding one of his bikes through the streets of Pipestone. Our prayers are with Jenny and her family.

Tom was a great neighbor who I met when he and Jenny moved to Vernell Ct in West Carrollton. My father Larry Van Dyke and Tom were good friends who shared a passion for motorcycles. I last saw Tom and his lovely family at my dad's funneral in 2004. My deepest heartfelt sympathy to Jenny, Jessica, Katherine and the rest of the McDougall family.
