I send my condolences to the Webster family. Mr. Webster was the Assistant Principal when I taught at Harrison. I will always remember his kindness to me and my deaf students. Each and every day, he made it a point to go to each classroom and say Good Morning. I have only good memories of my years of working with him.

Mr. Webster was an excellent teacher of mine at Garfield who taught me by example that teaching was an important profession. He is one of the reasons I am still a high school English teacher. Thank you for all you taught me.

Mr. Webster - I know you are up there asking When, What, Why, Where and How. You were a very caring and passionate teacher. Later in life I was again touched by you - every day someone kept bringing my newspaper up to my door and for the longest time I couldn't figure it out. Finally one morning I looked out to see that it was you, my former English teacher from Garfield and it truly touched my heart. Thank you Mr. Webster, you were a special teacher and a wonderful human being.

Dear Dee Dee, I was so sad to hear from my Dad about Tom. I know you are going through a difficult time, and I want to let you know that you are in my thoughts. Tom is in my thoughts too, as I remember what a great sense of humor he had, and how he always made family gatherings so warm, welcoming, and fun. I know that you will draw on your own strength and that of your family to help you face your loss. Please know that the Chicago area relatives are here for you too. Love, Robin
