Family-Placed Obituary
SHIELDS, Todd Alexander Age 21 went to be with the lord from the arms of his loving family on Monday, October 22, 2007. Todd was the son of Jill M. Shields and the late Willie "Billy" Marvin, Jr. Todd was born February 23, 1986 in Middletown, OH. He attended the Middletown City Schools and graduated in 2005 and was crowned the 2004 Homecoming King. Todd was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James and Lorene Shields and fraternal grandmother Odell Jones-Marvin. Todd leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Jill (Daune Bailey) Shields; his loving paternal grandfather, Willie Marvin, Sr.; special aunts, uncles and was a favorite to them all, Regina Marla, Marva, Randy, Terry, Joey, Tracy, Carl, Angie, Elgin and Marguerite; a host of relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Monday, October 29, 1PM at New Era Baptist Church 1120 Yankee Rd. Rev. Jamey Colts officiating. Visitation noon until time of service. Interment Woodside Cemetery. Arrangements by Hall-Jordan & Pretty Memorial Chapel 918 S. Main st.

todd was a dear friend of mine and i had just found out resently about his passing. im so sorry for your loss. he used to make me laugh in class in high school and was always the sweetest friendliest guy i ever met. i know god will greet him with open arms and a great love. he will truly be missed by all, and he will always be loved. god bless you all and ill be praying for your family.

I remember Todd from the time he was a little boy in People's Place. He was a very genuine person, and he would always brighten me up when I was around him. I am greatful to have had him as a friend growing up. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

My Dearest Cousin Todd,
From the first time you came home from the hospital and you and Brittany shared the room together, and those many nights that I rocked you to sleep, there was the bond then, from that point on you have truly left a place in our hearts, from cooking breakfast for you, and any holidays, you were the sunshine of the day...from your beautiful smile, to your stories, and your love for "Chicken" (LOL) you are now the sunshine up in Heaven.
Jill don't worry Todd will be well taken care of, he has Momma, Dadddy, Butch, Craig (Speedy), Sarah, Mrs. Marvin, and Billy. They are truly Angels walking and talking to him. Tood was a GOD SEND to all that he knew and knew him.
