News Death Notice

AMIOT, III., William S. 67, of Flemingsburg, Ky., formerly of the Cincinnati area, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, Ky. Born on June 8, 1948 in Cincinnati, Mr. Amiot was a son of the late William S. II and Deloris Amiot Brooks. He was the widower of Linda Amiot. Proudly serving his country in the U. S. Army, Mr. Amiot was a veteran of the Vietnam War having been stationed in Korea as a mechanic. For 20 plus years he worked as a respiratory therapist at St. Elizabeth Hospital South, and Drake Hospital. Mr. Amiot is survived by his daughter, Terra (Dale) Regensburger of Flemingsburg, Ky.; his son, Michael Amiot of Warsaw, Ky.; grandchildren, Jonathan Works, Katie Regensburger, Dakota Amiot, and Austin Amiot; a brother, Jim Amiot; sisters, Cindy Schoolcraft and Sheree Hampton; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at Noon Tuesday December 22, 2015 at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056. Friends may sign an online guestbook at www.boonenickellfuneralhome.com
