HUMMEL, William "Pete" Age 84, of Springboro, Ohio passed away March 10, 2005 at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born on January 27, 1921 in Middletown, Ohio. He was a lifetime resident of Middletown. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was employed as a Plant superintendent at Brown-Singer Company retiring in 1983. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry LeRoy and Loretta Mae Hummel; wife: Violet Hummel-March 16, 1998; and sister, Mary Margaret Ratliff. He is survived by his son, Dan (Kathy) Hummel of Springboro, Ohio; grandchildren: Jenny Hummel and Beth Hummel both of Springboro, Ohio; and sister, Mildred L. Walker of Englewood, Florida. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 13, 2005, 3-5:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 14, 2005, 10 AM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home with Dr. Howard Sears & Rev. Roger Green. Burial in Grace Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Middletown Christian Schools, 3023 North Union Road, Middletown, Ohio 45042

Patty and I were saddened to hear of your Father's passing. I will always remember the fun times we had growing up. I can't think of anyone that I respected more than your Dad. May the peace of God be with you and your family at this difficult time.
