Yolanda SCHIAVONE Obituary
News Death Notice
SCHIAVONE, Yolanda A. 87, of Monroe, died Monday, June 17, 2013, at the home of her son, Frank. She was born in Mechanicville, New York on May 3, 1926 to parents Angelo and Anna (Caffera) Draganette. Yolanda & her husband Frank owned & operated the Associated Collection Bureau. She was the founder & owner of Schiavone's Restaurant along with her husband. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and volunteered with the Salvation Army during World War II. Yolanda was a devoted mother & grandmother who enjoyed going to the casinos with her son Dennis and loved to travel with all of her sons. Mrs. Schiavone is survived by her sons, Frank J. (Joan) Schiavone III, Dennis J. (Cheryl) Schiavone, David S. (Amy) Schiavone & Michael A. (Shari) Schiavone; brothers, Benjamine Draganette & Julius Draganette; sister, Molly Duell; nine grandchildren, Dennis James (Michelle) Schiavone Jr., Christopher Ryan (Andrea) Schiavone, Matthew Michael (Ashley) Schiavone, Ethan (fiancée Nikki Hoffman) Robinson, Emily Staples, Ashton (Adam) Arnold, Frank J. Schiavone IV, Natalie Lynn (fiancé Wayne McDermott) Schiavone & Corine Schiavone; four great grandchildren, Rebekah Schiavone, Sarah Schiavone, Raelynn Schiavone & Addison Schiavone; and many good & close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Schiavone in 1991; parents; and seven brothers & sisters whom she loved. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
