With love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Darlene Gaudet Talamo on June 15, 2024, at her home in Loranger, La. Born on January 16, 1939, in Lockport, La., to Percy and Emma Gaudet, Darlene's life was filled with love, family, and faith.
Darlene was the beloved wife of Leroy Talamo, devoted mother of Perry, Rhonda, and Todd Talamo, and mother-in-law to Rebecca Talamo. She was a cherished grandmother to Blakley Echeverry, Benjamin Talamo, Sara Ivanyisky, and Avery Talamo, and a proud great-grandmother to Miles Echeverry, Mollie Ivanyisky, Morgan Ivanyisky, Cassidy Talamo, and Olivia Talamo.
She is survived by her siblings Bud Gaudet, Betty Pousson, Sharon Culotta, and Butch Gaudet; extended family members Donald Bourgeois, Connie Palmer, Daniel Sallade, Lauren Talamo, Stephen Ivanyisky, and Paige Talamo-Germany; and caregivers Barry Bankston, Karen Williams, and Gloria Wilson. She joins her parents and sisters, Marlene Fazio, Donna Rae Territo, and Mary Farve, in heaven.
Rest in peace, dear Darlene. Your memory will always be a blessing.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024, in the parish hall of St. Dominic Catholic Church, 55720 LA Highway 445, Husser, LA, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum.

Uncle Leroy, Perry, Rhonda, and Todd...and your families, Sue and I are saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Darlene. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
