Paul, age 69, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021. He was a longtime resident of Independence, LA.
Paul was an extremely hard worker who dedicated many years as a heavy diesel mechanic. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed riding horses, hunting, and fishing. All of his children have great memories running dogs with him. Paul liked watching baseball and was a dedicated viewer of UFC fights. Family was most important to Paul and he took great pride in being a Paw Paw. He was an incredible man that left those he loved with wonderful memories and will be forever missed.
Paul is survived by his wife, Pansy Purvis McAllister; daughters, Cathy McAllister, Mandy LaMartiniere (Neil), Heather Rogoz (David); son, Norman "Tiger" Paul McAllister Jr. (Tobi); brothers, Russell McAllister, Doug McAllister; grandchildren, Courtney Brunet, Nicholas Morrison, Steven LaMartiniere, Jack Morrison, Shane LaMartiniere, Trent LaMartiniere, David "DaDa" Rogoz, Hunter Rogoz, Corie Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Jed, Brinley, Juliette, Brooklyn, Layla, Aubry, and Ally; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Ruby McAllister; sister, Mary Edwards; brother, Ronnie McAllister; and infant daughter, Stephanie Robin McAllister.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 1190 Hwy 51 N. Ponchatoula, LA 70454 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Twin Pines Cemetery.
