AARON ERATO Obituary

AARON JAMES ERATO

February 3, 1987 - June 17, 2023

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Aaron Erato, age 36, passed suddenly on Saturday, June 17, 2023 while in Chicago for work.

Those who knew Aaron, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

Aaron joined the Navy in 2007, as a Nuclear Engineer. He served on the USS Hampton (SSN-767) until 2013.

Aaron enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles. Aaron was an amazing writer, with a couple short stories published. When you read his stories, you felt like you were right there with him. He also enjoyed Computer Gaming with his brother and friends.

Aaron had the opportunity to travel the world. You never knew where he was going next! You saw his joy of the places he traveled through the pictures he shared. He easily made friends wherever he went.

Aaron will be missed everyday by his father, Tony (Ginny) Erato, his Mother, Gayle (Mike) Nachreiner, brother, Michael Erato, his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many friends.

We know Aaron is now with his Grandma Gerry, Grandpa Emil, Grandma Rose, and Grandpa Gil.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:00 am at Corcoran Community Church in Corcoran located at 1201 Letts Avenue. A reception will follow.

Tony and Ginny,
I just heard about Aaron's passing, my deepest sympathies goes out to you.
I met Aaron when he took pictures at my daughter's birthday celebration. The pictures turned out so beautiful and Aaron was just having fun with the camera. What a nice and talented young man you raised. May God be with you in this time of grieving and help you down this path in your life you never wanted to take. Take care of yourselves.
Bless the name of Aaron Erato

Dear Tony,
I just learned about the death of your beloved son, Aaron. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I only saw him once when he was a baby. From his obituary Aaron grew up to be a fine young man. I am sure you are very proud of him. May God Bless you and your family during this tragic time and lessen your grief with happy memories of your dear Aaron. All My Love, Mary Shaheen
