Jack Lawrence Obituary

Twain Harte resident David Lawrence died July 13 at his home surrounded by family. He was 60.
Born on Dec 25, 1950 in Corcoran CA., and grew up in Hanford Ca. Played football for the Hanford High "Bull Pups". After graduating from high school, he traveled the United States and Canada.
Early 1970's David started working and learning the electrical trade at Lawrence Electric in Hanford.
1979 to 1980 Bay Osos Tub and Spa co-owner with Rick Brause. 1980 to 1981 SLO pool & Pocket co-owner with Rick Brause.
In 1983 he Settled in Twain Harte where he owned and operated the Chinese Camp Cedar Lumber Mill from 1983 to 1987.
In 1987 he went back to working as an electrician. He worked as a journeyman electrician with IBEW Union #684 out of Modesto and in 2009 he joined the Labors union Local #1130.
David enjoyed skiing in the winter months and in the summer he was an avid fisherman. He spent all his free time on his pontoon boat at New Melones Reservior. He also enjoyed hunting, camping and traveling.
He is survived by his wife Andrea Dolan-Lawrence, and Son, Wyatt Henry Lawrence, Twain Harte. Daughter, Bacahl Lawrence of Shell Beach, Ca. Son, Tucker Lawrence, Twain Harte. Grandson, Jackson Paul Lawrence, Twain Harte. Son Bryce Lawrence, Twain Harte. Step-son, Dennis Bondelie of Yuba City. Step-daughter, Angela Gookin of Columbia. 5 step-grandchildren, Nathan Gookin, Jacob Gookin, Cooper Gookin, Aleesa Bondelie and Lenette Bondelie. Aunt, Rachel Lawrence, uncle Al Gaitan, Uncle Art Gaitan, Uncle Ray Gaitan, Sisters Janet Hendricks and JoAnne Hansen, all of Hanford. Preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Helen Lawrence.
Memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday July 20th, 12:00 noon at All Saints Catholic Church Twain Harte. Terzich & Wilson to handle arrangements

Dave:
Sorry to here your gone. I enjoyed your friendship while I had it. Most memorable when I encountered you at my store Equinox at Harrah's Tahoe and purchased a full length coyote coat in cash. Super Bowl 1984. Big times that night. Of course the Side Pocket and Peach Orchard and other gathering places. Your parents were great and JoAnn. I love Janet. I'm so sorry for your loss, David and I were best friends at Thomas Mc Carthy school and he was my favorite reciever in football at Hanford High My parents and his Grandparents (The Gaitans ) were very good friends.I'll never forget the week we drove down to Santa Barbara to stay with his Grandmother, it was one of my best times I ever had. We lost touch with each other after High School but always thought of him, he will will be missed, so long my friend and may God Bless You, Richard DeSantos

Lost track of David after he left the San Luis Obispo area but the memories at HUHS and in San Luis are some of my fondest thoughts. Peace be with you David, and your loved ones.
