In loving memory of Jimmie Lee Rainey Sr., born in Cedar Bluff, Miss. on Dec. 29, 1929 to Larcenia and James Alan Rainey.

Jim was a wonderful man and he accomplished a lot with his life. He was a Christian man, loving husband, father, and a friend to all he met. He was honorably discharged in 1953. Jim married his sweetheart Ruby J. Young on Sept. 5, 1970. Jim owned and operated several successful dry cleaning businesses over the years across California and in Tennessee, where he retired in the early 90's. He moved to Lemoore, in 2000 to be close to his family.

Jim was called home, Saturday, May 16, 2009 at his residence, peacefully surrounded by his family who love, and will miss him dearly.

Jim is survived by his wife, Ruby of 40 years; four children, Jimmie and (Julie) Rainey Jr. of Memphis Tenn., Jared Rainey of Lemoore, Joi and (Aaron) Eubanks of Chowchilla, and Julia Rainey of Selma; four grandchildren, Juanna Rainey, Jimmie Rainey III, Johnathan Rainey, and Aaron Eubanks Jr.; two sisters, Addie Rainey and Artie Bibbs of Winona, Miss.; two brothers-in-law, Vernon and (Kathy) Young of Vallejo, and Ernie and (Isabelle) Young of Escalon; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Wheeler and Virginia Price of Fresno, and Bonnie and (Jerome) Avery of Hanford; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that he loved dearly.
