Kenneth Joseph Pereira Sr of Lemoore California, passed away on February 25, 2023. Kenny was born to John and Ruby Lee on May 17, 1958, in Hanford, California. He grew up in a loving home with his brothers John, Richie, Fred, and sister Susie. He was in FFA and kept his love for farming and raising livestock throughout his life, owning a farm, raising beef cattle, and growing multiple crops. His true passion was in the fields of manufacturing and engineering. His design creativity had earned him several US patents. He owned a mechanical design business but spent a majority of his career working for a defense contractor as Sr Project Manager. He ensured the research and development team created the best products for our military branches. His work ethic was unmatched, always rolling up his sleeves to jump in wherever needed. He was always willing to take the time to teach the skills and knowledge he acquired to others. In his free time, he enjoyed family camping trips, going to the coast, making amazing BBQ on the grill and growing vegetable gardens. He would always help those in need with nothing less that the shirt off his back. There are not enough words to describe the impact he made while here on this earth. He will be missed.

Ken is survived by his four children, son Kenny, daughter-in-law Janet and grandchildren Kenley and Jackson, daughter Stacey, son-in-law Mark, grandson Gavin and great-grandsons Sawyer and River, granddaughters Cecily and Katelyn, daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Chris and grandchildren April and Trenton, son Kyle. He is also survived by his brother John, sister-in-law Judy, niece Jenna and nephew Johnny, brother Richie, nephew Zack, niece Rochelle, nephew Dustin and nephew Blake, sister Susie and niece Colleen, brother Fred, niece Angela and nephew Freddy.

Ken will be laid to rest on Monday, March 13, 2023. 9:00 am visitation followed by rosary at Whitehurst McNamara Funeral Chapel 100 W. Bush St. Hanford, Ca 93230. 11:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Brigid Catholic Church 1001 N. Douty St. Hanford, Ca 93230. Burial will follow Mass at Lemoore Cemetery 1441 N. Lemoore Ave. Lemoore, Ca 93245. The family will be hosting a reception to celebrate Kens life following the burial at St. Brigid Youth Center 319 N. Harris St. Hanford, Ca 93230.
