Sandra Lee Denton, of Lemoore, passed from this life on Saturday, January 21st after a long illness, resulting from complications due to Fabrys Disease, in Hanford, California. She was born on May 7, 1950 in Paris, Henry, Tennessee to Louis & Martha (Dehart) Denton.

Sandra was beloved by all who knew her. She was a joyful spirit who brought laughter wherever she went. She loved to dance and despite a failing physical body you could still find her on the dance floor with her dance partner Brother Walker. Her son Kelly was the center of her world. She spent her lifes career in the healthcare industry like her mother. She was an avid genealogist unraveling the mysteries of our family tree. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was devoted to her faith in her Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. During her final years of life she lived with her niece Marlena Scherer in Lemoore.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, her son Samuel Kelly (Richelle)Denton , her two older sisters Bettye (Gary) Scherer and Edwinna (Winton) Empie, her twin brother Samuel Denton, and 3 nephews.

She is survived by her sister Judy Denton of Puryear, Tennessee, brother David (Teresa) Denton of Logan, Utah and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 10 11 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel in Lemoore, California followed immediately by the memorial services. Sandra will then be laid to rest in a family plot at the Hanford Cemetery in Hanford, California that afternoon.
