David Clemence Obituary

David R. Clemence II passed away on Saturday, Nov. 20 (2021) at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri. He resided in Harrison at his home and land which he referred to as Heaven on Earth.
David was born on Nov. 22, 1966, in Harrison, the son of David (Dave) Clemence and Virginia Clemence Parker.
David loved heights; most of his life he worked as a telephone lineman or large tower erector. His favorite thing to do was work. He absolutely loved working outside. If he was cutting firewood or burning something, he was happy.
The last few years of his life he fought esophageal cancer, which took his ability to swallow and took his strength, but against all odds, he had won that fight. His strength, however, never fully recovered, and he would consistently over-do to the point that it eventually was more than his body could take.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Roy Clemence, and his mother, Virginia (Martin) Clemence Parker.
He is survived by his brother and sister, Scott Clemence and Dawn, and Ginger McBee and John; an aunt, Linda Graves; nieces and nephews, Stephanie McBee Bullington, Shawn McBee, and Matthew Clemence; and his love, Jill (Liljequist) Clemence.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at Denver Cemetery. Viewing at Roller Christensen Funeral Home.
