Randall Bosworth Obituary

HUNTSVILLE, ALA. – Randall "Randy" Gene Bosworth, 61, 113 Windwood Dr., Huntsville Ala., died on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at home after a courageous fight with cancer.

Randy was born on March 7, 1951, in Portland to Gene Dilbert Bosworth and Patricia Jean Hoffman, both of whom preceded him in death.

Randy married Katina Ericson on July 1, 2006, in Gulf Shores (Orange Beach), Ala. She survives.

Randy was a 1969 graduate of Hartford City High School and was a retiree of the United States Army where he served as an Administrative Officer/Instructor at Southern Illinois University and as a Noncombatant Evacuation Officer in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He was most recently employed as a Systems Analyst for COLSA Corporation in Huntsville, Ala.

Survivors include his loving wife, Katina; two sons, William R. (wife: Michelle) Bosworth, of Hartford City, and Chad Bosworth, of Indianapolis; brother, Rick (wife: Ok Sim) Bosworth, of Muncie; sister, Gina Bragg, of Hartford City; a grandson, Connor Bosworth; nephews Rick Bosworth and Benjamin Bosworth, both of Muncie.

Graveside services and burial will be conducted on Wednesday, April 25, at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery, Maple Hill Drive, Huntsville, Ala.

Memorials may be made to the Blackford County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 70, Hartford City, IN 47348.

Berryhill Funeral Home and Crematory, 2305 Memorial Pkwy, Huntsville, Ala., was in charge of arrangements.
